KKCI is currently working with HAL Aerospace composite Division for manufacturing complex composite parts and successfully industrialized over 450 unique parts for ALH and LCH of different dimension & materials and till date delivered over 32,000 parts.
LCA parts are under currently under Industrialization phase.
Material of Construction:
- Monolithic parts fabricated using Carbon-Epoxy, Glass-Epoxy and Kevlar-Epoxy prepreg with Hexcel 914 & 913 resin system.
- Sandwich structures fabricated using Kevlar-Epoxy, Glass-Epoxy with Nomex core/ Foam construction.
- Assembly of components by cold bonding process.
All the composite parts are fabricated and trimmed in house and undergo process control coupon testing such as interlaminar shear strength test, Flatwise tensile test & Lap shear test followed by NDT (A scan) inspection.
Process: Prepreg with autoclave curing.
